About Michele
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with five years of experience, I provide a supportive, person-centered space where adults and adolescents can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools for navigating life.
My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I draw from these approaches to help clients develop greater self-awareness, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful change.
I also specialize in couples counseling using the Gottman Method, supporting partners in strengthening their connection, improving communication, and navigating conflict more effectively.
My practice is inclusive and welcoming to LGBTQ+ clients. I have clinical experience working with young people who have experienced trauma, as well as individuals with developmental challenges.
I am in-network with Aetna, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Independence Blue Cross (IBX), and UnitedHealthcare. I am also happy to work with you to explore and utilize your out-of-network benefits.
Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply looking for support through a transition in your life, I would be honored to work with you.
Just give me a call or write me to schedule a phone consultation.
My Story
I wanted to become a counselor to help families regain that feeling of connectedness - to each other and to their communities. I am particularly interested in helping families and couples in crisis.
I received my M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Pepperdine University and am pursuing my license as a professional counselor.
